Ombre Brows by Alyssa Elle

Soft, shaped and effortlessly defined

Ombre brows are a semi-permanent brow tattoo technique that gives a soft, shaded makeup effect like perfectly powdered brows that stay put 24/7. This style is ideal if you’re after more definition, fullness, or want to enhance your natural shape without the need for daily filling in.

OMBRE BROWS

Ombre brows are especially well-suited for mature or oily skin types. Unlike microblading, which uses fine hair-like strokes that can blur or fade unevenly on oilier or textured skin, the ombre technique uses tiny pixelated shading to create a smooth, even finish that heals more predictably and lasts longer.

Whether your brows are sparse, patchy, asymmetrical or you’re just tired of spending time perfecting them each morning, Ombre brows offer a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution. Results typically last 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

To get the best results and ensure your skin is in ideal condition, please follow the below guidelines for both lips and brows:

✔ Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.

✔ Exfoliate gently 1–2 days before (lips or brows) with a soft scrub or damp cloth.

✔ Moisturise daily – lips with balm, brows with a gentle hydrating cream.

✔ Eat beforehand – sessions can take 2–3 hours.

✔Bring photo inspo or your favourite products (lip liner or brow pencil) to guide shape and colour.

✔ Inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy, or prior cosmetic tattooing before your appointment.

✗ Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin or ibuprofen for at least 24 hours prior – they can increase bleeding and affect results.

✗ No fake tan on the face or lips for at least 7 days prior.

✗ Avoid chemical peels, Botox, or skin treatments for 2 weeks before or after.

✗ No active breakouts, sunburn, or cold sores (for lips) on the day – we may need to reschedule.

✗ Stop using exfoliating acids, retinol or Vitamin A on the area 5–7 days prior.

✗ Avoid excess sun exposure or tanning in the week leading up
